VideoSafe - A Flexible Solution
VideoSafe sets new standards within distributed video surveillance with the most open and flexible concept for scalability and availability on the market. Based on PC technology VideoSafe+ provides maximum performance, configurations based on individual requirements and optimum possibilities for later expansion.
VideoSafe is integrated into the existing Local Area Network (Intranet) with accessibility via the Internet. This makes the system very efficient within the company and by remote access.
VideoSafe+ sees everything
The intelligent camera stations handle the reception of image information from the cameras. All images pass an advanced image analysis where even the slightest motion will be detected. Motion detection initialises connection from the camera station to an operator station and/or transmission of an alarm message via e-mail or SMS.
Furthermore, a whole day’s images may be accumulated to prevent loss of image information caused by lack of attention, slow communication, etc.
The User Interface
The operator stations are running under MS Windows and therefore they are fully graphic and simple to operate.
With the system’s advanced motion detection system that clearly shows from which cameras and on which images activity occurs, the operators do not need to continuously supervise the cameras. They can concentrate on acting on exceptions only. This means that the operators may supervise a larger number of cameras and this way be more efficient.
In co-operation with the camera stations the operator station can automatically choose the cameras from which images should be received. This is an advantage in case of slow communication between camera station and operator station, or if the operator wishes to focus his attention on other things.
The operator stations may be dedicated to video surveillance, but may also be integrated into Safecon alarm monitoring, so that everything is handled from one workstation.
