Electronic reporting of work related injuries

2010
The well-known report form on paper is soon a thing of the past, when doctors, dentists, and employers have to report a work injury.
From July 1st 2010 it will become a legal obligation for employers, doctors and dentists in Denmark, to report a work injury via the digital report system, EASY. A notification via EASY, will automatically be forwarded to both The National Board of Industrial Injuries and The Danish Working Environment Authority.
The digital report will supports a faster case handling which will benefit the injured and at the same time maintain a smoother workflow and communication between authorities and companies, doctors and dentists.
With the mandatory electronic reporting The National Board of Industrial Injuries and The Danish Working Environment Authority will be a significant step closer in achieving the Government's target to digitize all relevant written communication between businesses and the public no later than 2012.
Work related injuries can be reported digitally via https://easy.ask.dk/easy/
