Sirius IT Nordic delivers yet another great annual result. The operating profit (EBITDA) for Sirius IT Nordic of 66 million DKK proceeds last year’s result of 60 million DKK.

It has only been three years since Sirius IT saw the day of light, but the shareholders have no reason to be disappointed. Sirius IT has done well despite a market that generally is experiencing recession due to the current financial crisis. The turnover for 2009 is 435 million DKK with an operating profit of 66 million DKK for Sirius IT Nordic.

"Our client base is primarily in sectors that are not particularly sensitive to the fluctuations of the market in general as for instance the pension and public sectors. And most of our projects are on medium or long application management agreements", says Kim Winther Jensen, CEO of Sirius IT Nordic.

In local currency there has been a slight increase in turnover from 2008 to 2009. But due to the weak Swedish and Norwegian krone, there has been a slight decline in turnover when converted to Danish kroner. The total operating result (EBITDA) for the entire Sirius IT group at 66 million DKK exceeds last year's profit of 60 million kroner. It is particularly important that earnings in Denmark, Norway and Sweden are now absolutely satisfactory.

Growth and maturity in 2010

After a year of virtually unchanged turnover in the three Scandinavian countries, we are now ready for growth in 2010. In addition, we have plans to further optimize our processes, thus ensuring that our customers get even better quality in our deliveries. We've had a very good start in 2010 and prospects for the whole 2010 is very good

"Of course we are keeping a close eye on the situation as I am sure every one - businesses as well as private - are these days. We are well aware that the financial crisis will naturally subdue parts of the Nordic it market and as a result we will continue to focus on our existing key customers. But at the other hand the current crisis also poses potentially interesting possibilities and investments for us. The situation is not solely negative for a company with a solid business and profit", says Kim Winther Jensen.
