SKI (National Procurement Ltd. – Denmark) elects Sirius IT for all partial agreements
The Danish IT company Sirius IT is by Statens og Kommunernes Indkøbs Service (National Procurement Ltd. – Denmark) (SKI) – as the only one – elected supplier for all 15 partial agreements on SKI’s new frame agreement with both standard software and own components. The agreement covers deliveries for public projects within health, industry and culture.
Hellerup, 18 June 2008 – Statens og Kommunernes Indkøbs Service (National Procurement Ltd. – Denmark) (SKI) has elected the Danish IT company Sirius IT supplier for the new ”02.18 System Solutions, Projects and Maintenance” frame agreement. Sirius IT shall deliver projects, system solutions, standard software; own components and maintenance to the public sector, including the areas of health, industry and culture. This makes Sirius IT the only elected supplier for all 15 partial agreements with all forms of delivery on the new frame agreement.
“The SKI agreement is of vital importance to our future deliveries to the public sector. We already cooperate with many of public customers, and with the SKI agreement we blue print our know-how and competences within system solutions and maintenance”, says director of sales and business development, Jesper Drustrup, Sirius IT.
The SKI agreement also means that Sirius IT continues as supplier on existing SKI contracts with The Danish Maritime Authority, Danish National Police and the National Board of Industrial Injuries among others. On the existing SKI consultancy agreement Sirius IT has had about 25 per cent of its turnover from customers in the public sector. On the new agreement is expected a handsome increase partly because of the agreement’s size and partly because of the good experience with the existing agreement.
”It is highly to the advantage of Sirius IT that the SKI agreement covers both development of IT system solutions and –projects, and maintenance of the solutions. This is where we have specialised, and where we can act as a strategic partner in long term commitments with our public customers”, says director of sales and business development, Jesper Drustrup, Sirius IT.
The Projects are off to a quick start
The basis for the new SKI agreement has been thoroughly prepared, enabling the customers to make use of the comprehensive material as soon as they start the dialogue with the suppliers. With the frame contract the customers’ duty for public procurement has been undertaken by SKI, thus avoiding the long process.
“It is our experience that it puts more focus on the solution and enables a faster start-up of the projects, says director of sales and business development, Jesper Drustrup, Sirius IT.
Sirius IT is a Nordic IT company with app. 400 employees developing value-adding IT solutions to the public sector as well as chosen businesses in the private sector. Sirius IT delivers services in consultancy, system development, integration, processes, support, and maintenance.
”We are very proud that of 71 suppliers on the different partial agreements we are the only supplier, who can deliver projects, license products and own components in all areas”, says director of sales and business development, Jesper Drustrup, Sirius IT.
The new agreement guarantees the customers the greatest possible freedom of choice, whether the forthcoming IT project requires a big total supplier, a smaller consortium, a niche supplier or an offshore supplier. The flexibility of the delivery forms even reflect on the forms of payment. The customers can choose, if the project particularly lends itself to a time and material business model, ceiling price or fixed price. And naturally, it is still possible to have mini-tenders between the agreement’s suppliers.
The SKI agreement will be effective as of 1 July 2008.
