In Sirius IT we have high focus on usability when developing our solutions. We are determined to ensure, that the solutions we develop will realise the customer’s objectives.
For a solution to be regarded as user-friendly it is essential that it supports the users’ needs. As a main rule this means that the solution must be easily learned, easily remembered and easily used. But it is also a question about accessibility and reliability.
In Sirius IT we ensure the support of the user’s needs by performing one or more of the following activities as part of the design process:
Our objective is to deliver solutions that are efficient, easy to use, easy to learn, easy to understand and easy to remember.
Allan Lundgaard Hamilton
Manager of Sirius IT’s Team User Experience
In Sirius IT user-friendly solutions are developed in a close cooperation across trade groups and competences – from graphical design and interaction design to technical development, implementation and tests.
The transverse cooperation ensures our solutions to live up to the customers’ demands for a clear visual identity, a user-friendly interaction design and an easily accessed user interface.
Accessibility on the internet is a prerequisite for everybody to have access to the networking society.
It is especially important for our public customers. Therefore, our work is based on the international guidelines for accessible web design from World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
“Bedst på nettet“ (Best on the Net) is a competition for public websites.
Sirius IT has helped Sikkerhedsstyrelsen (The Technical Safety Council) win in the category “Statslig forvaltning” (public administration) with the website www.sik.dk and Statens Serum Institut in the category “Forskning” (research) with the website www.ssi.dk.
