.NET Back-end Developer

The role of the .NET back-end developer is to complete development and solution implementation of IT systems with specific competence within back-end development in .NET.

The back-end developer is part of the project team for coding and implementation, test and documentation in the development- test- and deployment phases.

The .NET back-end developer is responsible for programming the server side software for .NET based solutions and other Microsoft based solutions, and he must ensure that unit test and quality assurance of the developed product comply with the requirement specification and product descriptions.

The Back-end developer is also familiar with other server technologies from Microsoft, such as Microsoft SQL Server with Analysis Services, MOSS, Team Foundation Server, BizTalk Server System etc. The back-end developer’s most important tools are C# and SQL programming, and he has a solid knowledge of the .NET framework. Often he will also master several script languages.
