Quality Assurance

Test plays an important part in relation to development projects. Sirius IT has dedicated employees, who are specialised in the testing area.

Sirius IT has two competence profiles working with test in relation to delivery projects:

The Test Manager

The Test Manager coordinates all testing in delivery projects, both in relation to the customer and internally with the supplier in connection with production of test documents and performance of test. The test manager has the following work areas:

  • The test manager is responsible for all test in the project and is responsible for the projects production of test strategy, test phases, test procedure within a phase, test cases, test reporting and quality assurance.
  • The test manager is responsible for ensuring that all test performance is completed in accordance with the development model.
  • The test manager has the daily responsibility for coordinating ad task allocation in relation to the supplier’s test team.
  • The test manager is responsible for test of the final system against the requirement specification.

Test Consultant

The test consultant performs test cases based on the requirement specification and/or use cases. The test consultant is responsible for producing, performing and executing test cases and for documentation of test results. Furthermore, the test consultant handles reporting of failed test cases in an error reporting system, and allocates errors to the development team. Finally, the test consultant handles the dialogue with the development team in relation to developed software, and requirements in connection with the development team’s error corrections.
